Training programme on Burmese Language

Training and Placement Cell, Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati, Manipur organized a training programme on Burmese Language under Capacity Building Scheme of Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Manipur for the benefit of the employees of the IT companies from 01 February 2017 to 30 April 2017, where a total number of 11 participants were participated. Following the ground trith - "Language learning is a continuous process and practice makes the process perfect", the sessions of the training programme was splitted into two sections: one-hour learning (writing and speaking) session and one-hour practice session.
The inaugural session of the training programme was graced by Mr. N. Deben, Additional Director, Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Manipur, which was held at classroom number 4 on 1st February 2017. Mr. N. Deben emphasised in learning the languages of neighbouring regions to know more about the sentiment and vibe associated with that region and the market in his inaugural speech. The session was presided over by Dr. L Sarbajit Singh, HoD, Humanities and Social Sciences, IIIT Senapati, Manipur.
