Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur organized a training programme on Web Application Development from July 04th to 23th July 2016, sponsored by Department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur,India. The Training programme was initiated under the leadership of Prof. Amarendra Kumar Das, Interim Director, and convened by Dr. Navanath Saharia and Dr. Thoudam Doren Singh, IIIT Manipur, with a motive to skilled youths from nearby fraternity in web development including aspects such as security, vulnerabilities and how it integrates with other services. During the course of the training programme, senior web application developers from Globizs were invited to have hands-on sessions. Apart from advance features of HTML version 5, JavaScript and PhP, the training programme includes Bootstrap and Yii frameworks.
