Conditions for Candidates Still to Appear in the Qualifying Examinations:-

Candidates still to appear in their qualifying degree examinations may also apply, provided they appear in all their qualifying degree examinations and complete all requirements for their degree before 31.12.2019. If selected, such candidates shall be admitted provisionally, and they will have to furnish the results of their qualifying degree examinations latest by 30.01.2020, failure to which their admissions shall stand automatically cancelled. Further, they must fulfill the minimum requirements of marks/CPI, and other conditions like valid GATE score etc., as mentioned under eligibility criteria for the concerned programme. Failure to fulfill any of these requirements shall automatically result in cancellation of admission.

Reservations:

Reservation of Seats for SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer) and PD Categories; OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates will have to enclose certificate and self-declaration statement as per format. The OBC (NCL) Certificate, issued by competent authority, on or after 01-01-2019, shall only be acceptable.

Relaxation for SC/ST/PD Candidates: Eligibility criteria 5% marks or 0.5 CPI will be relaxed for Eligibility criteria for SC/ST/PD applicants.

Research Assistantship under Regular and Fulltime Category:

Research assistantship will be available to eligible students for “Regular and Full Time Category” as per Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) phase-III norms for Engineering discipline.

Syllabus for the written test:

The syllabus for the written test will be based on GATE/NET syllabus of the concerned discipline.

Travel Allowance:

The candidates called for the written test and interview will be reimbursed to and fro third-AC class railway fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to IIIT Manipur.

5. Copies of Provisional certificate / Degree Certificate and Marks Memos of the qualifying Examinations

6. GATE/NET score card copy

7. Scanned copy of the demand draft/ NEFT transaction reference.

8. Attested copy of the reserved category certificate on the prescribed proforma and signed from the competent authority (if applicable)

9. NO OBJECTION certificate from the present employer (if employed)
