Eligibility Criteria:

For admission to the PhD Programme a candidate must satisfy the following criteria unless they are exempted for any as mentioned in specific category:

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Admission into PhD Programme in Engineering:-

Master’s degree in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks both in the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering/Technology.

OR

Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70% of marks.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Admission into PhD Programme in Basic Science and Humanities:-

MSc/MA/MTech in relevant area with at least 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5 both in the Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees.

Note:- The candidate applying for PhD admission should have also qualified the GATE/NET examination/INSPIRE fellowship.
